Care more about the other person than what you want to say or do.
“Make the world work, for 100% of humanity, in the shortest possible time, through spontaneous cooperation, without ecological offense or the disadvantage of anyone.”
— R. Buckminster Fuller
The long version
As a life-centred organism and community, the importance of empathy, perception and effective communication will be familiar to many participants. We ask that you continue using these skills in all your interactions on this site: please be mindful of the words you use. Exclusionary jokes—sexist, racist, or otherwise—will be offensive to those around you, and will not be considered appropriate.
Communication should be appropriate for a professional audience, including people of many different backgrounds. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for this publication, including chat, notes, and articles.
Trimtab is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing, photography or recording, sustained disruption of conversations, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.
Participants violating the Code of Conduct may be asked to leave the publication at the sole discretion of the publication owner and administrators, and reserve the right to refuse access to the community as authors, contributors, or subscribers.
Thank you for helping make this a welcoming, friendly publication for all!
