World Weavers

June 17, 2023

A bi-weekly conversation in Zoom, every second Saturday at 8am Pacific Time, inspired by the world building session with Trimtab Space Camp Mesosphere visionary Tony Patrick in 2020. In our conversations, we mused that we were a World Weavers Web, weaving synergetically as a synarchy, rather than in the dominant mode of dominating over nature as architects and builders, and collectively agreed to change the name of the group to World Weavers.

Our meeting on Saturday, June 17, 2023, will be building on the work of Veronica Anderson—who led the last session with an experience of feeding the feminine first—and her exploration of inner and outer architecture. The model of life is one that integrates feminine and masculine energies into a synergy. Out of that synergy emerges new life, regenerating the old forms and dying structures.

We will be exploring life as an interface for insight into the inner essence of the metaphysical presence of mind, heart, body, and soul, and the outer expression of this life in a physical universe of time, energy, and matter.

Inner Essence

  • Intention (mind: cognition)

  • Intimacy (heart: emotion)

  • Inspiration (body: action)

  • Intuition (senses: perception)

  • Interbeing (spirit: interaction)

  • Integrity (soul: integration)

Outer Expression

  • Synchronicity (time: mind + spirit)

  • Synergy (energy: heart + soul)

  • Synarchy (matter: body + senses)

  • Synesthesia (senses: body + mind)

  • Synthesis (spirit: mind + heart)

  • Syntropy (soul: heart + body)

Life as an interface for insight: the inner essence and the outer expression.

If you would like to catch up on the last World Weavers conversation, a video of the last session with Veronica Anderson is available for subscribers to the Trimtab publication. Subscriptions are free.

Feed the Feminine First

As we explore what it means to embody the concept of synarchy in the Design Science Studio, we have been exploring a conversation about the dynamic equilibrium between structure and capacity, a tensegrity in living organisms and within groups and communities of social animals. A group of us gathered for an informal conversation: Brooke Daily, Veronica Anderson, Mark Smith, and myself.

Life as an Interface
I had what felt like a “Eureka!” moment yesterday. Here is what it looked like. It was realizing that the community of the holobiont—a living organism composed of other living organisms—is connected by the same patterns at the scale of a human being, at the scale of a community, at the scale of a planet, and at the scale of a solar system. By making the…

Veronica Anderson: Inner and Outer Architecture
Listen now (67 min) | Wow, I never anticipated this project to continue into the summer! I want to thank everyone for watching and listening, and take a moment to revisit what The Mission Log is all about. When I attended the BFI Spacecamp: On Climate Stabilization I did not have time to join a mission, but I noticed that both the mission introductions and the mission share o…
